Life is hard, therapy helps. I have been where you are and sat in that seat as the client seeking help from a therapist because we ALL go through rough times in our lives where we need support. I am here to listen and get you through those difficult times. You are not alone.
My name is Tyana, I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC). I thoroughly enjoy working in therapy with children, adolescents, and adults. I am flexible to your needs, interactive with children, neurodivergent affirming, sensory sensitive, behavior tolerant, and known to have great patience, rapport, and connection with kids and adolescents (even the teenagers who don’t want to do therapy).
I received my Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Moody Theological Seminary (Chicago, IL). My clinical experience stretches across a wide variety of issues such as depression, anxiety, grief, relational/family problems, trauma, and crisis intervention (including self-harm, suicide, etc). Additionally, I am trained in faith integration so if your faith is important to you and you are seeking to have your religious/spiritual beliefs integrated into your therapy, please let me know.
Furthermore, I welcome all cultures, backgrounds and identities without judgement. My pursuit is to see you as authentic as you are, to meet you where you are in your place of need or hurt and support you on your therapy journey. I look forward to meeting you!
