I am a firm believer that everyone needs a village to support them in order to be the best version of themselves they can be! I view myself as a part of that village – supporting, encouraging, and sometimes pushing my clients to reach the goals they are striving for. Teamwork, guidance, empathy, and humor are foundational pillars of my practice.
I graduated from Case Western Reserve University with my masters in social work, and a focus in children/youth/families. I am also a current LISW with the state of Ohio! Throughout my 10+ year career, I have experience working with teens and adults (12+) who know something isn’t working, and maybe just need that extra support to clear the gunk out of their way. My clients experience anxiety, depression, life changes, relationship issues, LGBTQ+ identity issues, and more. I have experience working with individuals in and around the foster care/adoption systems including relative caregivers and aged out youth. I highly value working with a diverse population.
I view myself as a teammate to my clients, and as a result they will get to see my humanity while I see theirs. If my direct, strengths-based, and humanistic approach sounds like what you’re looking for, I am looking forward to working with you!
